Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal information FutureNodes collects when you use our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as we can.

Who we are

FutureNodes (also written Future Nodes, referred to here as "we" or "us") is a software engineering agency. This policy covers the website at futurenodes.in (the "Site"). For anything about this policy or your information, write to futurenodestech@gmail.com.

Information we collect

  • Contact form. The name, email address and message you type in. The form also notes how long it was open before you sent it. That is used only to filter out automated spam, and it is not stored.
  • Call bookings. If you book a call, the scheduling widget (provided by Cal.com) collects your name, email address and any notes you add, so the call can be arranged and a confirmation sent.
  • Direct messages. Anything you send us by email, WhatsApp or phone using the contact details on the Site.
  • Technical data. As with any website, the servers that deliver the Site and its content receive your IP address and basic browser details so that pages can load. We do not use this to build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal or quote.
  • To schedule and hold calls you have asked for.
  • To keep the Site secure and to stop spam and abuse.
  • To meet legal or accounting obligations where they apply.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We rely on a few service providers, who handle your information only to provide their service to us:

  • Brevo, which delivers contact-form messages to our inbox by email.
  • Google, for our email inbox and for Google Meet video calls.
  • Cal.com, for booking calls.
  • The hosting and content-delivery companies that serve the Site to you.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. Each provider has its own privacy policy, linked above where we have one to point to.

Third-party content on the Site

Some things on the Site are loaded directly from other companies: fonts from Google Fonts, videos and images from Cloudinary, Framer and other image hosts, and the booking widget from Cal.com (which loads only when you open it). When your browser fetches these, the provider can see your IP address, just as we can see it when you load our pages. We do not control what those providers do with that information.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site itself does not set cookies and does not use local storage, analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

If you open the booking widget, Cal.com may set its own cookies on its own domain, for example to keep your session secure and to guard against bots. We do not control these. Cal.com's policy, linked above, describes them.

If we ever add analytics or other tools that use cookies, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and booking details for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep reasonable business records, then delete or anonymise them. If you want something removed sooner, ask us.

Where it is processed

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including outside India and the European Economic Area. We choose established providers and rely on the safeguards they offer.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the EU or UK GDPR), you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • withdraw consent you have given, or object to certain uses; and
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these, email futurenodestech@gmail.com. We will answer within a reasonable time.

Security

The Site is served over an encrypted connection, and the credentials used to send contact-form messages are kept on our server, never in your browser. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

Children

The Site is aimed at businesses and founders, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
